At Paul Wiffen Academy we offer kickboxing classes in the following age ranges:
Adult Kickboxing: 16+ years of age
Cadets Kickboxing: 12 – 16 years of age
Kids Kickboxing: 6 – 12 years of age
Lil Tigers: 3-6 years of age
If you want to enjoy getting fit but also challenge yourself in a safe friendly environment then this is the way to do it! Whether it is purely for fitness reasons or you are interested in our grading system where you will receive belts and merits for each of your achievements. We also support light continuous shows and full contact shows for juniors and adults. At PWA we have a fight team of both junior and adult fighters.

Paul Wiffen Boxing Club
At Paul Wiffen Academy we offer boxing classes that are designed for beginner to advanced and for all different fitness levels. During our classes we ensure that there is no contact involved, we have separate sparring sessions for that.
The aim of the sessions are for practicing techniques and learning how to use boxing effectively and in an appropriate way. Once you have progressed and feel comfortable then you will be able to part take in our sparring sessions.
Our sessions include:
- Skipping & Shadow boxing
- Technical drills & Fitness drills (circuits etc.)
- Pad work & Bag work
- Boxing ring drills & Sparring (optional)

Circuit Training at Paul Wiffens Academy
We offer a circuit training class every Sunday at 10am, this class is suitable for men and women of all fitness levels and ages.
It is based upon a circuit training model, but involves much, much more, there is a huge emphasis on High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) a proven method of increasing stamina and loosing body weight.
During the classes we run, stretch, use body weight resistance exercises, weights, ropes, medicine balls and other fitness equipment. The exercise philosophy is simple: short, intense and varied exercise is the most effective.
We make sure that every session is different every week to keep you and your body on your toes.

Lil Tigers at Paul Wiffen Academy

At Paul Wiffen Academy we offer kickboxing classes to children aged between 3-6 years of age. Lil Tigers is a 5 week course including a grading after the final class.
The aim for this class is to teach balance, coordination, respect and self discipline through fun, games and exercise.
These are the necessary skills for learning Martial Arts with coordination being directly linked to the child’s maturity level installing control cooperation respect and discipline. The children will learn to take turns to share and to work within a team.

Ultra White Collar Boxing

Ultra White Collar Boxing is a unique opportunity for people with no boxing background to experience the wonderful world of boxing, in a safe and enjoyable environment.
Ultra White Collar Boxing is aimed at Male and Female beginners; you will receive 8 weeks of FREE training at at our gym. This will get you extremely fit and teach you the techniques you will need for your fight. These training regimes will ensure you are in the fittest condition of your life and will be feeling great!
At the end of the 8 weeks training you will be fairly matched based on weight, fitness, ability & age with an opponent from the group you have trained with to ensure a fair competitive bout. All of our boxers must raise a minimum of £50 for Cancer Research UK, CRUK will email you details of how to set up a just giving page.

Personal Training Sessions at Paul Wiffen Academy
At Paul Wiffen Academy we offer private personal training for kickboxing, boxing, BJJ and circuit training. We offer one-on-one personal training for everyone from beginners to advanced and for all fitness levels.
Your personal training session will be catered to your specific needs to achieve your personal best and accomplish your fitness goals. By combining different routines and specific training exercises, you are able to burn up to 1000 calories an hour.
Our private sessions normally last for 1 hour and you will have the trainers undivided attention throughout the session with constant feedback and recommendations on how to improve your techniques. You will definitely be put through your paces and over a period of time you will see the benefits of your hard work.
We also offer private sessions for up to 4 people, enabling you to all train together but splitting the cost.
