Semi-professional boxer turned trainer
I first came to Paul Wiffen Academy over 4 years ago, after I was looking to take my boxing career to the next level. Before joining Paul Wiffen Academy I had already had 7 fights, with a mixture of wins and defeats.
Whilst at Paul Wiffen Academy, Paul and his team were able to take me to the next step in my career. The team not only helped my boxing career but they also helped develop me as an individual.
It has been over 4 years since I walked through the door for the first time and I have never looked back since. It is an excellent gym because of the regimental but enjoyable training sessions and it has a massive emphasis of no egos.
After a decent record of 10-4-1, injuries have turned me to the training side of things. I am now teaching the Boxing Classes at Paul Wiffen Academy. I am enjoying training the others in the gym, passing on my knowledge and also watching and helping develop other fighters. It keeps me close to the fight game, where I need to be and it is a good feeling seeing people improving themselves.
